Photoshop Sparkle Brush And Motion Trail Effect Written by Steve Patterson.  In this photo effects tutorial, we'll learn how to create a custom sparkle brush in Photoshop , and then how to use the brush to add a magical  sparkle trail  to a photo! This version of the tutorial has been updated and expanded for Photoshop CC  and is fully compatible with  Photoshop CS6 . Shape Cluster Photo Display With Photoshop CC

In this Photoshop tutorial, we'll learn how to divide a single photo into multiple smaller sections and display it as a cluster of shapes, similar to larger "wall cluster" displays where several photos, usually in different shapes and sizes, are arranged together on a wall to form a larger design. In this case, we'll use Photoshop to create something similar but on a smaller scale using just a single image. In this version of the tutorial, we'll be using Photoshop's  New Guide Layout  feature to help us divide the photo into smaller sections. The New Guide Layout feature is only available in  Photoshop CC  and was first introduced in the 2014 Creative Cloud updates. To follow along with this tutorial, you'll need to be an  Adobe Creative Cloud  subscriber and you'll want to make sure your copy of Photoshop CC is up to date. Starting with the Raw File We want to begin with a Raw file or a high quality image.  If you want to follow along with this tutorial download the image right here to follow along with this tutorial.  In this case I’ll be starting with a PSD file that was converted from a Camera Raw file. With beauty photography THE most important thing is the lighting. You want lighting that fills shadows and ensures the model will have smooth skin even right out of the camera.  For this photo I used a fairly simple clam-shell lighting technique. 2. Frequency Separation For Skin Tones We’re going to begin by duplicating the background layer twice and rasterizing each of those layers (Right Click>Rasterize Layer) and I named the layer on the bottom “lo” and the layer on top “hi”.
